Maths at our school is stimulating, exciting and fun. It is taught from Early Years through to Year 6 daily.

Children develop their maths knowledge through carefully planned maths lessons which meet their needs. Children in KS1 and 2 reularly practice their mental maths and key skills through a tracking system called Assertive Mentoring and all children get chance to practise their maths skills in their topic subjects taught in the afternoon sessions.

At home parents can support their children with regular practice of their times tables, so by Year 4 they will know them up to 12 x 12. And by teaching your child how to tell the time, using both digital clocks and analogue.

Take a look at our Mathematics Policy to tell you more about how maths works at Primrose Hill.

The NCA's CEOP Command is here to help children and young people. We are here to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online, or in the real world. We also have advice and links to support for other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying and hacking. Visit our Safety Centre for advice and to report directly to CEOP, by clicking on the Click CEOP button.
