School Parliament

Primrose Hill has a very active school parliament who meet regularly to discuss the issues that affect the children in our school.

Nominations and ballots for new school parliament representatives took place in September. Each member of our Parliament is assigned a Department to work in.  They meet each half term with Mr Myring in our school's own Boardroom!

Some of the accomplishments resulting from the work of our school parliament include:

  • Every child in KS2 trained in First Aid.
  • Involvement in a project aimed at improving break times - this resulted in behaviour at break times improving and being more fun.
  • Established a friendship scheme for people that are lonely on the playground.
  • Replacement and redesign of a KS2 trim trail.

The NCA's CEOP Command is here to help children and young people. We are here to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online, or in the real world. We also have advice and links to support for other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying and hacking.
