Extra Information
Reading regularly is one of the most important ways you can support your child's learning at home. We ask that children read five times each week and discuss their books with an adult whenever possible.
Please also ensure that all homework tasks are completed and returned on time.
Reading books are exchanged once per week, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so children should bring their reading book and reading diary to school each day.
Thank you for helping us foster a love of reading and learning. 📚✨
Things to Look Forward to This Year!
There are lots of exciting opportunities for our children this year! Alongside our everyday learning, we will provide a range of experiences to broaden children's horizons, develop new interests and create lasting memories.
Some of the experiences we are looking forward to include:
- Educational visits and trips: Local Community walk, Salford Museum, Local Church visit & Castlefield (Roman) walk.
- Visitors and workshops: Manchester United Foundation, History Stone Age workshop
- Personal development and enrichment: School council opportunities.
- Special experiences: Beach Trip.
Please note that some activities may be subject to change throughout the year.
Our Curriculum
We want parents and carers to feel informed about what their children are learning and how they can support them at home.
Our curriculum newsletter will be uploaded each half term to share the key learning, topics and experiences planned for your child's year group. Please check this page regularly for updates.
